CAROL M. BROWN: Sunrise June 28, 1955 Sunset February 7, 2021 Carol M. Brown (Maiden name: Huger): Born June 28, 1955, to her predeceased parent’s George A. Huger & Alberta “Iris” Morrison Carol M. Brown, survived by her children: Raymond, Ta-wan, Christine, Royce, Marleena Brown & daughter in-law Songi. Ms. Carol, survived grandchildren, Dashawn, Tierra, Lashawn, Justine, Clifford (CJ), Imani, Zawditu, Zen-Tu, Enoch, and Menelik. Great grandchildren, Saleema, Samiyah, and Damoni. Also, nine siblings, family, and friends! MEMORIES & ACHIEVEMENTS: My mother was a woman of greatness. She was a loving caring single parent who survived five children and all sorts of love one. She executed many endeavors! Carol M. Brown was inspired to be the best her, and that she was! My mother graduated from Thomas Jefferson with her high school diploma. She enrolled in Interboro College and obtain her Associates Degree in Business Administration. Continue years later at St. Francis College with a Bachelors/Master's Degree in Management & Business Administration. She also, went to TCI- Technical Career Institute an made it on the Dean's List; however, she continues her studies at St. Francis College. My mother career advance in titles as a Secretary, to Executive Assistant, and promoted to a Project Administrator. Her passion was in Construction Management! My mother was involved in the community as a campaigner for Latisha James (activist/lawyer), James Davis (Council Member), Eric Adams (Brooklyn Borough President), and Hillary Clinton Presidential in 2016 (former First Lady). My mother volunteered in The West Indian American Day Carnival Association, where she cooked various of Caribbean dishes to sell as a vendor. She became the Block Association President on Prospect Place in Brooklyn where she lived. She was involved with block parties, engaging in family festivities, and grilling food to feed people. My mother was a woman of encouragement and empowerment! She was an advocate and a mentor for anyone that seek her assistance, and counsel. She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. My mother was the life of the party. She loved to celebrate all sorts of love ones; therefore, she was the matriarch of the family. She shared her life to the world of people that needed her assistance. She was a true woman that loved, inspired, and support the community (abroad)!
