Jacques Bermann Desamours

December 10, 1932 - February 8, 2022

Sadely Mr Jacques Bermann Desamours passed away on February 8th, 2022 leaving behind his beloved wife of more than 65 years together, Aceline née Romelus. He was born at Dondon on December 12, 1932 from His father Letoy Desamours and mother Elizna Severe. Bermann completed his elementary schooling at Dondon and went on to start his secondary classes at College Notre Dame of Cap-Haitien. During that time his friends and family knew him as being very studious and wanted to have a better life than his parents’. Due to many life constraints he only halfway completed his high school, but that didn’t stop him from becoming a useful member of the society. Although he was the only the child in his family, his personality and his philanthropic attitude made him acquire a lot of brothers and sisters. He became a great member of Cooperative Gabart le Vaillant at Dondon and fervently assumed his responsibility as a book keeper which will make him gain the name of Gérant Bermann. Later on he also worked for many years for Ministère de l’Agriculture as a Technicien agricole. He greatly valued education which explained his drive to work hard to take such good care of his children. He took great pride of their achievements. He will be seriously missed by his children Pierre Yves Desamours, Lise D Saint-Jean, Yvanne D. Fanfan, Guy Florvil, Carline Zephir, Claudel Zephir, Gerald Zephir; his sons and daughters in-law Guy Chavanes Saint- Jean , Martino Fanfan, Yolene Desamours, Frantz Innocent , Emmanuella Zephir, Carole Florvil , Betty Zephir; his grandchildren Evans and Family, Dorly, Patrick, Yvelt, Yvens, Wendy, Bradley, Marlyn, Vanessa, Verdelle, Wendell, Jevely, Ronald, Wendly, Jean Rony, Tite, Alourde; his numerous friends in particular Gary Zephyir, Marlene Zephir, Youyou StPreux, Eloi St Croix , Claude St Jean. Family and friends will take comfort in Jehovah promises found in Revelation 21: 3,4 when there will be no more death and tears and also in John5:28, 29 when there will be a resurrection.
